Oversight process

We will notify you if the complaint provides us with information we believe should be the subject of an oversight process.

  • If an oversight process is initiated, we will provide the health professional regulatory college with a summary of the complaint
  • When we receive a complaint, we pre-screen and assess it to make sure we have enough information to understand and evaluate the issue raised
  • We may request personal information and details related to your complaint from that college

  • Any health professional regulatory college involved in an oversight process will also receive a report of findings
  • If the complaint is of public interest, we may publish the report
