Board appointments

There are 6 health professional regulatory colleges that oversee 25 regulated health professions in B.C. Each college has a board that makes strategic decisions.

The Oversight Office runs processes to recruit candidates for B.C.’s 6 health professional regulatory college boards. We use an equitable, merit-based process that looks at skills and experience when recommending board members.

The Oversight Office makes recommendations to the Minister of Health, who has the final decision making authority to appoint board members.
